The crypto market crashed with over $1 billion in liquidations in a 24 hour period. BTC futures led the losses in that period with $420 million, followed by ETH at $340 million, and a combined $75 million for SOL, DOGE, XRP, and PEPE. Over 275,000 traders were liquidated, primarily those with long positions. BTC dropped more than 11%, and ETH fell up to 25%, marking the worst single-day price fall for ETH since May 2021.
